8th Annual Alaska Advanced Trauma Training Institute

Registration for the 8th Annual Alaska Advanced Trauma Training Conference is now open!

Each year, the Alaska Advanced Trauma Training Institute features local Alaskan and national experts who share about the latest research and advances in the neurobiology of traumatic stress, trauma-informed systems, and clinical interventions for complex trauma in children and adults.

This annualĀ event is hosted by the Alaska Child Trauma Center at Anchorage Community Mental Health Services, Inc. (ACMHS) with support of the State of Alaska, Division of Behavioral Health. ACMHS is changing its name to Alaska Behavioral Health effective June 1st.

This year we are providing the conference virtually.Ā  Our speakers include:

Dr. Margaret Blaustein, creator of the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) treatment framework.

Dr. Hilary Hodgdon,Ā  a nationally recognized trauma researcher and trainer, as well as co-director of the Complex Trauma Treatment Network (CTTN).

Jennifer Wilgocki, MS, LCSW a national trainer for the Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) treatment model and author of ā€œMaybe Days: A Book for Children in Foster Care.”
