Fairbanks Services

Any child/family in Fairbanks can access services through our Child  & Family Clinic by calling 907-371-1300. 

Alaska Behavioral Health has partnered with the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District to offer on-site services at several schools. If you are interested in school-based services for your child, please call our front desk to see if this is available at your child’s school.

AK-RISES, Alaska – Resiliency In Schools for Educational Success (Fairbanks)

AK-RISES is a partnership between the Alaska Child Trauma Center, State of Alaska Department of Education and Early Development, and the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District to expand mental health services in Fairbanks schools.  The goal of the five year demonstration project is to develop a statewide model for delivering mental health services in schools. AKBH clinicians currently provide services in person at:

  • Lathrop High School
  • Ryan Middle School
  • Hunter Elementary School
  • Arctic Light Elementary School

Download forms here to print and fill out on paper.  Completed forms may be returned by fax to 907-371-1387, turned into your school counselor, or delivered to our clinic at 926 Aspen Street in Fairbanks.

Anchorage Services

Any child/family may access services through our clinic by calling 907-561-0954. Therapy and wrap-around support services are offered on-site within several schools in the Anchorage School District.

Elementary Schools

We have a clinician on-site at the following schools:

  • Chester Valley
  • Williwaw Elementary School

To access services within these elementary schools, please contact your child’s teacher or the school counselor, or call us at 907-561-0954 and request for your child to be seen at school.

Middle and High Schools

We currently offer services at:

  • Clark Middle School

At the middle and high school level, services are offered in connection with Anchorage School-Based Health Clinics. To access services at these schools, please speak with your school counselor or the health clinic provider, or call us at 907-561-0954 and request for your child to be seen at school.

In-School Clinical Supports

When a mental health assessment indicates need, students may be able to receive support in their classrooms in any school in Anchorage. Clinical associates assist students in building skills to increase success in the classroom. Call 907-561-0954 to schedule an assessment.
