COVID-19 Operations at Alaska Behavioral Health

At Alaska Behavioral Health, we continue to see clients primarily through telehealth. All needed forms for new and existing clients can be filled out and submitted securely through our website on a smartphone or computer. We have also posted instructions for joining Zoom appointments and meeting requests.

Our clinics are open and serving clients who don’t have access to technology, have needs that can’t be met remotely (medication administration), or have otherwise met individual criteria to be seen in person.  This is decided on case by case basis, please discuss in-person visits to clinic with your provider and our staff.

We are screening for symptoms of illness before entering. Please prepare to be greeted at the door, answer questions about recent travel, symptoms and known COVID-19 exposure, and have your temperature taken. We are also screening staff as they arrive each morning for symptoms of illness and fever.  MASKS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL CLIENTS AND STAFF IN OUR FACILITIES.

If you have an in-person appointment, and are feeling any symptoms of illness, please call to re-schedule.

If you have a telehealth appointment and are feeling too sick to participate, please call to re-schedule.

If you aren’t sure if what you are feeling may be a symptom of COVID-19, please use this CDC self-checker and follow the recommendations. If the self-checker recommends quarantine, please re-schedule any in-person appointments.
