Paying for Services

We never want money to be the barrier between you and better mental health. No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay. A sliding fee schedule is available based on family size and income. We also believe that consumers should be allowed an opportunity to contribute toward the cost of their health care as another level of investment in their recovery process. We will work with you to create a financial payment plan that works for your situation. As a not-for-profit agency, we depend on community support to keep moving forward while striving to provide the best care possible.

We are experienced in working with most major insurance companies. If you have any type of insurance, PLEASE BRING YOUR INSURANCE CARD to every appointment.

For those with Medicaid/Medicare

Please bring a copy of your Medicaid/Medicare card to your initial appointment, and any time there is a change in coverage or you receive an updated card.

For those with Medicaid only, Medicaid requires a $3 co-pay for appointments with a medical provider.  We request that you pay this at the time of service. For those with Medicare only, expect to pay your annual overall deductible and 20% of the cost of services provided. Those who are covered by both Medicare and Medicaid will have no out-of-pocket expenses.

For those covered by Medicare, we will need you to submit an Advanced Beneficiary Notice Form on our Client Forms page.

For those with private insurance

Please provide your insurance carrier information including your member ID on your patient intake forms and bring a copy of your insurance card to your appointments.

You may want to inquire with your health care insurance plan as to your mental health benefits prior to receiving services. Upon request, our front desk staff will do a full insurance verification prior to starting services or after your initial appointment.

We request that you pay any co-pays at the time of service, unless prior arrangements have been made.

For those without insurance

Billing and Reception staff are available to help you determine your costs. No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay; and a sliding fee schedule is available based on family size and income. For more information and to apply, visit our Client Forms page.

Our staff will help you determine if you qualify for Medicaid, and case managers may be able to assist with the application process.

Prompt Pay Discount

To receive the prompt pay discount, payment is due the same day of service. This discount cannot be combined with insurance payment. If you do not have insurance or your insurance does not cover a particular service, you are eligible for the prompt pay discount of 40% for the service(s).

In some cases, it may be more beneficial for clients to use the Sliding Fee Scale, depending on the client’s income, household size and other factors.

Our Billing department can be reached at 907-563-1000  to help you determine the best payment method for your situation.

Standard Charges

Our common charges are available here.  Our complete standard charge list is available at our front desks.  Please remember that the amount you are expected to pay will vary based on your insurance coverage.  Reception staff are available to help you determine your costs.
