Anchorage

Anchorage provides quick access in the winter to skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and dog sledding with easy access to hiking trails, biking, river rafting, fishing, and hunting in the other seasons. Anchorage has a population of approximately 300,000 and offers a cultural setting and great schools.

Fairbanks

Fairbanks, also known as the Golden Heart City, is the largest city in Interior Alaska and serves as the regional economic and health care center for the Interior and Northern Alaska. The city and its surrounding borough are home to approximately 100,000 citizens and boasts a diverse culture, rich history, a thriving population and economy, and plenty to explore.
