| With Mt. Spurr’s volcanic activity on Advisory status (yellow), we want to assure you that we have an emergency plan should an eruption occur.
There are two more levels before an eruption is most likely: Watch (orange) and Warning (red).
We won’t know if ashfall will affect our clinics until an eruption occurs (if it does), and which way the winds will carry ashfall.
Our goal
Our priority is your safety and continued access to mental health care so all clinics will remain open until an official emergency is declared by the Municipality of Anchorage or the Matsu Borough. Please stay tuned to local news and assume that only when an emergency is declared, our clinics will close.
What This Means for Your Appointment
During normal business hours (weekdays)
- If an emergency is declared, we will close the clinics early for in-person visits to allow all clients and staff to return home safely before ashfall. Staff will be the last to leave.
- Your appointment may be switched to telehealth, when possible. If telehealth this not an option, we will reschedule once the emergency period is ended.
After normal business hours (evenings and weekends)
- If an emergency is declared, we will close the clinics and prevent staff from coming in until it is declared safe to return.
- Our scheduling staff will try to reach you for appointments to be switched to telehealth, when possible. If telehealth is not an option, we will reschedule once the emergency period is ended.
*If you are unable to reach us, or we are unable to reach you to reschedule: don’t panic, your safety is our top priority. We will do our best to reach you at our earliest convenience.
How to Contact Us
Getting Prepared
