The psychiatric emergency department at Providence Alaska Medical Center is designed to provide accessible, professional, cost-effective services to individuals in psychiatric and/or substance abuse crisis including assessment, crisis intervention, medical care, and referrals. 

ACMHS works closely with staff at Providence to coordinate care for our mutual clients seen at Providence. 

Fairbanks

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call (907) 371-1300. Our staff at FCMHS answer the 24-hour mental health crisis line for Fairbanks and the surrounding communities. FCMHS staff will assess the situation via phone, and may recommend going to the Fairbanks Memorial hospital, depending on the nature of the crisis.  FCMHS provides on-going services as needed.
