In Fairbanks, Mobile Outreach for Children and Families (Mobile Outreach) is available 7 days a week, 8am – 8pm, to individuals 18 years and younger in the Fairbanks North Star Borough who are in an active state of crisis. Call 907-371-1359.

Fairbanks Mobile Crisis Team

The Mobile Crisis Team is dispatched by the 911 dispatch center in Fairbanks.

The Fairbanks Mobile Crisis team is comprised of mental health professionals and peer support specialists who assess individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. Help is available in the Fairbanks area 24 hours a day, 7 days a week anywhere someone needs help, including at school, home, work, or any other community-based setting. Services include triage and screening; assessment; de-escalation/resolution; peer support; coordination with medical and behavioral health services; collaboration with families and natural supports, information and referrals; and crisis planning and follow-up. The mobile crisis team will address recovery needs and will provide trauma-informed care with a specific focus on suicide prevention.  The Mobile Crisis Team is dispatched by the 911 dispatch center in Fairbanks.
