With education, advocacy and financial support there is hope for those with mental illness. Alaska Behavioral Health is funded by billing public and private insurance for the mental health services we provide, but not all of the needs of clients qualify for insurance reimbursement and not all of the rates we are paid actually cover the costs of providing services.
