We are a large behavioral health clinic with offices in Anchorage and Fairbanks and are looking for a Charge Nurse who will also serve as Infection Control Nurse. The position is located in Anchorage but there will be occasional travel to Fairbanks. There are no evening or weekend hours.

The Charge Nurse serves as the lead member of the Nursing Team, and provides clinical oversight of all nursing functions and direct psychiatric nursing. The position recommends and implements clinical processes, develops nursing protocols, monitors the effectiveness of nursing systems and nursing performance, and models nursing behavior and communication that is consistent with the Organization’s mission, goals, and values. Other responsibilities include promoting a healthy and safe environment by preventing transmission of infectious agents among clients, staff and visitors. Qualified applicants must be a licensed registered nurse with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Five years of relevant experience as a psychiatric nurse is preferred including two years in a leadership position requiring nursing oversight, supervision, and administrative duties.

Salary range is $72,322 to $93,595 along with eligibility to participate in an incentive plan.
